The Paradise of Presence audiobook is now available. I published it using a distribution company called Findaway Voices, which is Spotify’s audiobook arm. Findway Voices (soon to become INaudio) distributes to all audiobook platforms globally. The audiobook runs for 7 hours.
At the moment, the audiobook is available on six platforms. It will show up on the rest within a month. The platforms that have it picked up so far are:
- Spotify. The cost is $15.49, with a 2-minute sample. The downside here is that Spotify distributes to the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland only.
- Google Play. The cost is US$18.99, with a 9-minute sample. That’s the longest sample available, which makes it worth checking out even if you buy elsewhere.
- Kobo. The cost is US$11.99, with a short sample.
- Libro.FM. The cost is US$21.26, with a 2-minute sample.
- Nook Audiobooks (Barnes and Noble). This is the cheapest option at US$11.03.
- Storytel. I can’t find any details on this site. It is not in English.
I have made the audiobook available to libraries, but I don’t know what libraries will pick it up. Libraries pay a special price for an audiobook (usually 2-3 times the commercial price) and then make it available to their card holders.
